Serial entrepreneur Steven Cash Nickerson founded his first company, Workforce Strategies, in 1995 to provide businesses with outsourced human resources services. He has since founded other ventures dedicated to providing companies with specialized services, including Strauss Nickerson in 1998, Mucho.com/Team Mucho in 1999, and PDS Tech in 2003. Nickerson has also used his entrepreneurial skills to start a foundation for prostate cancer research and a Russian martial arts training school.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurial career, Steven Cash Nickerson worked from 1985 to 1989 as an attorney for Union Pacific Railroad and from 1990 to 1993 as a lawyer at Jenner & Block, where he became a Partner in the Corporate and Real Estate departments. He earned his law degree in 1985 from Washington University’s St. Louis School of Law, serving as the Articles Editor for the Washington University Law Quarterly while a student. Before that Nickerson performed his undergraduate education at Carleton College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and English. He also possesses a Master’s of Business Administration from Washington University, which he earned prior to starting Workforce Strategies.
